I know there isn't a lot of food in the river there, and above access of the falls for any anadromous species, but I do know there are a few fish there. Oct 9, 2011 · My first fly rod/reel was an Eagle Claw + Medalist. They'll last forever if you only fish every so often, or you'll upgrade and it makes a perfect backup and guest setup. Worth mentioning, you'll still want the right line for it.

Dec 4, 2017 · Have owned them all over the years and using Redington Dry Fly now for a couple years with no complaints. I like them because of the medium wader with an 8-10 bootie option. Simms are great but can only get them with 9-11 bootie. 8-10 is slightly snug, but preferable to loose extra bootie in my wading boots.
